The Truth About the Mormon Religion

The Face of Sexual Deviant and Pedophile Joseph Smith Founder of the Mormon Religion

With this blog post I want to make a couple of things clear; some basic facts which not everyone is aware of.  In America today people have some strange ideas about Mormonism.  Either they don't know much about it at all, or they think it's just another flavor of Christianity with some odd customs.  However, there are some basic facts that a lot of people are simply unaware of, especially members of the Church itself.

Here are some basic facts you should know about the Mormon Religion

  • Fact # 1 : Most members of the Mormon religion are excellent, moral, and upstanding people.  They have a very strong sense of morality and compassion.  They are some of the most kind people you will ever meet in life and are the type of person you can count on if you are ever in need.  Nothing I say in the following statements of fact change this.  This is not an attack on members of the Mormon faith.  However, it is an attack, or rather a statement of fact, about the origin of this religion.
  • Fact #2 : The Mormon religion is based on a fraud.  The religion was created as a hoax by a man named Joseph Smith and his friends.  Sorry if you have heard stories about 'golden plates' and an angel named Moroni.  Those stories are complete nonsense.  Anyone who cannot see that they are complete nonsense hasn't spent two minutes thinking about it or two minutes researching the topic.
  • Fact #3 : The man who perpetrated this fraud, Joseph Smith, was a notorious con-man.  His stroke of genius in the long-con was creating a fake religion so he could take advantage of people to fulfill his carnal desires.
  • Fact #4 : Joseph Smith was a sexual deviant and sex addict.  He used his power in the Church to have sex with many women, including many of the wives of other men.  He, and his pals, twisted the minds of people who were conned by his religious fraud into letting them sleep with each other's wives.  Realize this is a statement of fact; without controversy.  It is well documented and well known by all church historians.  In other words, I'm not making this up.
  • Fact #5 : Joseph Smith was a pedophile.  Joseph Smith 'married' a number of teenage girls, including some as young as the age of 14.  He used grotesque manipulation of one girl, Helen Kimbell, threatening that she would be putting her family's spiritual future at risk if she didn't have sex with him.  These are all undeniable statements of fact; recorded by history in the girl's own words.  Mormon apologists claim that it was 'normal' for 14 year old girls to get married back then.  Well, two things.  First, it was not 'normal', that is simply not true.  And, second, it has *never* been 'normal' for a 35 year old man to have 33 wives and have sex with young teen aged girls.  Never!
  • Fact #6 : Joseph Smith was tarred and feathered for having sex with a man's 16 year old daughter.  Some wanted to have him killed, but this was a compromise.
  • Fact #7 : Joseph Smith was murdered by a mob; in large part because of polygamy; meaning he kept having sex with their wives and daughters and they had had enough of it.
  • Fact #8 : The 'Book of Mormon' is a plagiarized document from a number of sources.  There was no 'Angel Moroni', there was no 'set of golden plates'.  This has been proven over, and over, and over again by a number of scholars.  Not to mention the fact that the actual contents of the book are absurd.
  • Fact #9 : Joseph Smith was so lazy that when he created his religion he simply borrowed Freemason ceremonies nearly word for word and incorporated them into his hoax religion.  For example, one element of the first degree Freemason ceremony includes a 'blood oath' about having your tongue torn out by its roots and your throat slit from ear to ear.  This oath was copied, verbatim, into the Mormon temple ceremonies for over a hundred years.  It was only recently removed once the Internet couldn't keep it secret any more.  The rest of the Freemason elements, however, remain to this day. The origins of the extreme secrecy around the temple ceremonies is because that's how Joseph Smith initiated his closest buddies into his wife-swapping sex ring.  He had them swear blood oaths to keep the secret as long as he could get away with it.
  • Fact #10 : It doesn't matter if Mormon's have strange or odd customs or choose to drink, or not drink, coffee.  These are matters of triviality and unimportant.  Every religion appears 'odd' to someone not familiar with it's ceremonies.  What is important, however, is the fact that the entire religion is based on a fraud.  That is the core issue at hand and cannot be ignored any more.
So, there you go.  This post does not include a hundred hyper-link references; its not necessary.  These are all statements of well documented historical fact. Do your own Google search or read a couple of books.  None of this should be a surprise to anyone who takes even the slightest interest in finding out about the true history of this hoax religion.  Simply do a Google search on "The Wives of Joseph Smith" or "Joseph Smith Tarred and Feathered" or "Who Really Wrote the Book of Mormon" or "Rethinking Mormonism".  The evidence is sitting in plain sight for anyone to see.

There are some people who may wonder if any of this even matters?  After all, many Christians pick and choose which parts of the Bible they take literally and which they don't.  There are even Christians who do not take any of the alleged miracles of Jesus Christ literally and instead focus exclusively on Christ's message.

You might wonder, if Mormon's are all such great people, why does any of this even matter?

Well, here is the thing.  You can recognize that the Bible was written a long time ago by people from early cultures.  You can choose to take some parts of the Bible literally or not.  There is nothing about the Christian faith which lives or dies on your belief in any particular aspect of that document.

More to the point, we know that most of the Bible was written by actual people recording to the best of their ability their beliefs and faith at that time.  Much of the history of the Bible is actually accurate.  The cities listed in the Bible really existed in history, so did the people, the tribes, the languages, the cultures, the Kings, and so on and so forth.

However, and here is the rub, the Book of Mormon is 100% a work of complete fiction.  It records no actual cities, people, cultures, kings, and such.  It is a 100% completely made up invented hoax.

I think that's kind of a key distinction don't you?

To 'be a Mormon' is to 'believe in the Book of Mormon'.  There is no way around it.  You can be a Christian but reject the entire Old Testament.  You can be a Christian but choose to take some miraculous stories literally and others as parable or metaphor.

But you cannot be a Mormon and *not* believe in Angel Moroni, Golden Plates, and the idea that the pedophile and sexual deviant Joseph Smith was an inspired prophet of God.

If you don't believe that, then you aren't a Mormon any more.  You are just a regular Christian; which would be fine if that were the case.

So, if you are a Mormon, and somehow you were unaware of the facts listed at the top of the post, then you need to ask yourself why?  Why do you belong to religion which was created by a sexual deviant and pedophile, as a hoax, so he could take advantage of women?

Why?
